Ann was the 2005 Matrix Award Winner for outstanding communicator in Westchester County, NY. A gala event was held where Ann received the annual award from the Association of Women in Communications.

 

Ann's style as a speaker is to engage the audience with humor, solid advice and a sprinkling of personal antecdotes while capturing their attention, and making them a part of the learning experience.

 

In the beginning
When marketing in healthcare was in its infancy, Ann was working in a New York City multi-hospital corporation with the vice president of operations in building a marketing department. She brought her expertise to another institution after relocating with her family, and became the Director of Public Relations for a hospital in New York. Her ability to establish solid business relationships allowed her to be successful in media placement in a mulitude of venues including New York media, both print and television.

 

During this time, something else was emerging from Ann's knowledge of the industry: she became passionate about service excellence and how excellent customer service, and employee satisfaction can boost the reputation of any company. Her skills as a teacher blossomed and she was now training all levels of hospital personnel.
